Stephen Day

Stephen Day has over 20 years financial experience in both Public and Private Sectors. 

Stephen is an enthusiastic and experienced Chartered Management Accountant.

In the Private Sector, Stephen has worked for a number of large PLC's as a Finance & Commercial Director, Managing Director completing over 20 acquisitions in the Support Services Sector with deal sizes ranging from £1-£25m. 

In the Public Sector, Stephen has had a number of interim assignments in the Health Service including both Primary and Secondary Care and now working with the Department of Health.

Stephen's key capabilities are to manage a number of high level projects with strong commercial acumen and engagement with stakeholders at levels.

Stephen is Managing Partner and founding member of Acquisita LLP.

Andrew Chapman

Andrew Chapman has over 15 years experience in the IT Industry.

In the Private Sector, Andrew has worked for large PLC's including heading up the technology division responsible for software development and ICT services. Andrew has a proven track record with extensive experience in strategy development and project delivery in complex environments.

Current project work in the Public Sector includes developing and implementing e-learning systems for schools.

One of Andrew's key successes is assisting organisations to embrace new ways of working and delivering projects with diverse teams and stakeholder groups.

Andrew is a founding member of Acquisita LLP.

Lynne Young

Lynne Young has over 30 years clinical and operational experience in the NHS.

Lynne is a high profile, proactive, and experienced Executive Board Director and NHS Leader with extensive corporate and change management experience across primary and secondary care. Lynne has worked within the NHS for over 30 years as a clinician, senior manager and also management consultant. Lynne has a national profile for service redesign across Provider Services.

Specifically, Lynne led the city wide reconfiguration of community services across Sheffield and surrounding areas. Lynne initiated and established strong provider relations especially with The Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This became a nationally recognised benchmark as a model of care and it delivered a £4m reinvestment opportunity. In the last two years she has had extensive experience in reviewing and advising on various clinical re-design activities, such as the lead for the strategic review of clinical services across North Yorkshire and York PCT, East Riding of Yorkshire PCT and Scarborough and East Yorkshire Healthcare NHS Trust. 

Other relevant tasks include leading the reconfiguration of acute medical services re-design within Scarborough and North East Yorkshire Acute Trust. This was a high profile national position which Lynne was requested to undertake and which was recognised as best practice by the national clinical lead for emergency medicine (Professor Sir George Alberti), Lynne has extensive experience in the community services areas including having been programme director for the transfer of Louth County Hospital to create an integrated primary care led facility, re-designing of sexual health services within Lincolnshire Teaching PCT following recommendations from the National Access Team and reviewing the commissioning arrangements within North East Lincolnshire Care Trust.

Lynne has an MBA and a Diploma in Management Studies and joined Acquisita in 2009.

Sue Schoormans

Sue Schoormans has over 20 years experience in Human Resources and
Operational Management.

In the Private Sector, Sue has worked for a large number of companies heading up the HR function as Regional HR Manager and HR Director. She has extensive experience of Greenfield and Brownfield site openings and large scale recruitment and selection of employees. In addition, she has experience of mergers and acquisitions.

Sue has the professional Personnel Management qualification with the CIPD, an Honours Degree in Hotel and Catering Administration, is a qualified assessor of NVQ's, is a licensee for Thomas International personality profiles, aptitude and attitude tests and emotional intelligence and is also a licensed facilitator of TetraMap®.

One of Sue's previous managers said this about her: "Sue is one of the most dedicated & professional managers I have worked with. Her work ethic is second to none & she always delivers. More important than that though is the fact that she has loads (and loads) of integrity."
